Clips from The O.C. - The Pot Stirrer (S03E03)
"After Kirsten left, I had no one to talk to."
The O.C.
"Yeah, well, my mom invited Kaitlin's old riding club."
The O.C.
"Yeah, well, remember when I said I wanted to get to know Kaitlin?"
The O.C.
"In that case, there's something I should tell you about her and Seth."
The O.C.
"What are we doing here?"
The O.C.
"Your presents are all downstairs."
The O.C.
"- Kaitlin, look, I told you... - That you're 17 and that I'm 14."
The O.C.
"But I'm not 14 anymore, remember?"
The O.C.
"- What are you talking about? - Look, you said that you liked me."
The O.C.
"So unless there's something else..."
The O.C.
"- I'm not interested in Marissa, all right? - Then prove it."
The O.C.
"One birthday kiss."
The O.C.
"You know, I think we better get back to the party."
The O.C.
"You can't stop me. I've let this go far enough as it is."
The O.C.
"From my interview for Brown, which I went to."
The O.C.
"Okay."
The O.C.
"You told her, didn't you? Okay, first of all, don't blame Kaitlin."
The O.C.
"Fat chance of that."
The O.C.
"- Where have you been? - Oh, Johnny gave me my present."
The O.C.
"Well, I wouldn't go that far."
The O.C.
"So it looks like Lily and Bill are hitting it off."
The O.C.
"...but I'm totally cool about turning your apartment into the Playboy Grotto."
The O.C.
"Dry martini for you, Lily."
The O.C.
"Sandy, that won't be necessary."
The O.C.
"- I'm in. - You're in?"
The O.C.
"Caleb would've been proud."
The O.C.
"A martini. And Scotch for the young lady."
The O.C.
"- So, what did he say? - We got the hospital."
The O.C.
"Sandy, that's amazing."
The O.C.
"So where do we go to have fun around here?"
The O.C.
"You're leaving your own birthday party?"
The O.C.
"Kaitlin, you gave Seth pot. You stole money from a fraternity."
The O.C.
"- I don't know who you are anymore. - Spare me the concerned-sister bit."
The O.C.
"We both know this is about Johnny."
The O.C.
"- You don't know. - Anyone can tell you like him."
The O.C.
"You don't think Ryan can?"
The O.C.
"You may not know me, but I do know you."
The O.C.
"Hey, Marissa, honey, where's Kaitlin? It's time for the cake."
The O.C.
"- She's gone. - What?"
The O.C.
"What do you mean? She's not gone. She wouldn't just leave her own party."
The O.C.
"I don't wanna go into it, okay?"
The O.C.
"How could you do this to your little sister?"
The O.C.
"This was a very important birthday for her, for us."
The O.C.
"Excuse me?"
The O.C.
"You know, I should just go, okay? I'm sorry. Bye, Dr. Roberts."
The O.C.
"- I'll take you home. - No."
The O.C.
"I wanna walk. I need the fresh air."
The O.C.
"- You know, I just wonder... - Oh, no."
The O.C.
"No, I think you were right to be cautious. We both have very complex lives..."
The O.C.
"- I hate to leave you like this. - Oh, no, it's fine."
The O.C.
"So we'll talk."
The O.C.
"And you can leave the key on the dish when you leave, all right?"
The O.C.
"Come in."
The O.C.
"Hey, Cohen. I'm looking to see if Brown has a course in Human Sexuality."
The O.C.
"Because, no offense, you are so taking that."
The O.C.
"Oh, my God, I'm such an airhead. How did it go?"
The O.C.
"Please tell me it went okay. Please?"
The O.C.
"This means we're gonna be together next year."
The O.C.
"- Come here, let's pick out our schedule. - Okay."
The O.C.
"Just a few minutes ago."
The O.C.
"Well, we made our case..."
The O.C.
"...and we got it."
The O.C.
"Bill Merriam's coming by tomorrow. I should prep a little."
The O.C.
"Well, I'm very proud of you."
The O.C.
"I don't have feelings for Johnny."
The O.C.
"Neil, I would love to."
The O.C.
"That guy from Brown, he didn't say they couldn't take more than one student."
The O.C.
"- Hey. - Hello. Hi."
The O.C.
"You want me to help you out? Maybe ask you a few questions?"
The O.C.
"...and I got my watch set to East Coast time..."
The O.C.
"Why don't you talk to Summer. I'm sure she's freaking out too."
The O.C.
"Fair enough. You're pouring coffee in your cereal."
The O.C.
"Well, you two have done a great job."
The O.C.
"I didn't wanna tell you because I didn't wanna spook you."
The O.C.
"Kaitlin turns 15 this weekend, and I'm putting together an album."
The O.C.
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"
The O.C.
"And honestly, the best part was always the afterparty."
The O.C.
"- "I am 16 going on 17"? - Yeah."
The O.C.
"Not much chance of that."
The O.C.
"Now that she's at Harbor... I haven't talked to her since your mom's party."
The O.C.
"Julie."
The O.C.
"- I came to see how you're doing. - Hey, Dad."
The O.C.
"Yeah, and I'm freaking out."
The O.C.
"I just don't feel like it's the beginning."
The O.C.
"Oh, Sandy, you wanna tell the boys that dinner's almost ready?"
The O.C.
"Yeah, well, I was saving the whole drug thing for college."
The O.C.
"My birthday was the one day I could count on being noticed. Not anymore."
The O.C.
"Come on, please, can we go home now?"
The O.C.
"Mom feels terrible."
The O.C.
"- Why don't you have it here. - What?"
The O.C.
"I don't think that Prada is the answer that they're looking for."
The O.C.
"...and pinpoint like two or three times where you were genuinely happy..."
The O.C.
"...and tell him we'd like to take him out tomorrow."
The O.C.
"- I wanna bring that home. - Sandy..."
The O.C.
"Kaitlin?"
The O.C.
"Okay, well, what are you two doing?"
The O.C.
"We're just hanging out. So don't freak out or anything."
The O.C.
"Then we had a chance to talk. Went for a swim."
The O.C.
"Who were you really calling this morning, me or her?"
The O.C.
"I already ate. Plus, I just wanna go over some of this stuff."
The O.C.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
The O.C.
"It's just... That look on her face when she saw us..."
The O.C.
"I told you how the free clinic might operate?"
The O.C.
"It's dinnertime. Where would you like to go?"
The O.C.
"Thank you for letting me use your house for my party."
The O.C.
"- What's that? - Okay."
The O.C.
"No. No. Come on, man. I love when you go for the comedy."
The O.C.
"Seth? Hey, man."
The O.C.
"You showed up and Summer started talking to me, and my life changed."
The O.C.
"I'd be leaving that for someplace new..."
The O.C.
"...and it'd be really easy for things to go back to the way they were."
The O.C.
"This is a good turnout, though."
The O.C.
"Now we're only two years apart."
The O.C.
"Yeah, I balked at taking him out to dinner..."
The O.C.
"- Bill. Here you go. - Thanks, Sandy."
The O.C.
"Well, then you wouldn't mind that I just made out with him upstairs."
The O.C.
"- I don't know what to say, Neil. - It's fine, Julie. It's fine."
The O.C.
"No, I waited up. How did it go?"
The O.C.
"Newport, I hardly knew you."
The O.C.
"- Yeah, honestly, I was. - Really? Because..."
The O.C.
