"They felt there was an effort by Joe to kill Carole."

"And this was at the point where we'd heard"

"indicating that there was, in fact, a plot coming together."
Tiger King
"First I heard that Glover was gonna knife her."
Tiger King
"And then I heard a gun. Joe, he didn't really get into detail."
Tiger King
"And he was drinking a lot, doing a lot of cocaine."
Tiger King
"When you're in that state..."
Tiger King
"[Glover] The plan was..."
Tiger King
"We kept guns by the bed,"
Tiger King
"[Carole] I got out of my car to get gas"
Tiger King
"They didn't want him to get down there and kill Carole"
Tiger King
"[Carole] I had heard through the whistle-blowers"

"so that they could put me into the back of a car"

"where they could cut my body into pieces."

"like where he's at. Was he down in Tampa?"

"[Carole] I knew that he was out there."

"I knew that somebody really wants me dead."

"There was a noise out on our porch,"

"It sounded like someone had broken through the screen,"

"and I woke up to see Carole there, holding her gun,"

"I was just supposed to small talk with him."

"Mr. Glover was just going back home to South Carolina,"
