The Crown
"But when you're out, there's no doubt at all."
The Crown
"Why can't you just be civil to him, Mummy?"
The Crown
"Sixteen years since the abdication, and he was close to Papa."
The Crown
"Because the man is a monster!"
The Crown
"The responsibility of becoming king killed your father"
The Crown

The Crown
"Why not? She's fat, common, and looks like a cook."
The Crown
"Did they offer any justification?"
The Crown
"Oh, that it would appear insensitive for a member of the extended Royal family"
The Crown
"to be seen to be rewarded and live in luxury."
The Crown
"Extended Royal family!"
The Crown
"I was the most senior member of that family. The King!"
The Crown

The Crown
"Perhaps you should take a leaf out of your late brother's book."
The Crown
