"But when Bob caught you, you killed him, didn't you?"

"and a couple of hours later, Bob showed up at my front door."

"So he confronted you. What did he say?"

"He didn't say anything."

"[winces]"

"Bob did that to you?"

"It was like he was a different person."
Lucifer
"He wasn't angry. He was..."

"He was so calm."

"It made it even scarier, you know?"

"What did you do after he left?"
Lucifer
"Are you kidding me? I went to the hospital."

"Detective, I have definitely seen work like this before,"

"Well, his story checks out. Glenn was at the hospital at the time of death."

"Oh. So Bob wasn't as mild-mannered as we first thought."
Lucifer
"Hm. Apparently not."
Lucifer
"But a bag of doorknobs? It's..."
Lucifer
"so specific."
Lucifer
"Was it a message?"
Lucifer
"If so, it was lost on that poor chap."
Lucifer
"Huh."

"[Lucifer] What on earth are you doing?"
Lucifer
"[Chloe] I think we're being followed. Looks like he's got a gun."

"Detective, this is a chance for me to use my devilish strength."

"You can see what I'm truly capable of."

"Or I can just point my gun at him and yell, "Freeze!""

"I've never really seen how far I can actually throw a human."
Lucifer
"-[sighs] -Joking. Mostly."

"Okay. He's all yours."

"[man groans]"

"Why were you following us?"

"Because your victim was in witness protection."

"US Marshal Luke Reynolds."

"You were Bob's handler?"
Lucifer
"I, uh, kept tabs on him, made sure he was safe."

"Failed pretty spectacularly at that, though, didn't I?"

"You certainly did."

"Well, he asked."

"[Chloe] So why were you following us outside?"
Lucifer
"You could have approached us at any time."
Lucifer
"I know. Sorry, but when you're dealing with someone like Bob the Knob--"

"[Lucifer snickers] Sorry. Seriously? Bob the Knob?"

"[Lucifer laughs]"

"What was he in witness protection for? Bad porn?"
Lucifer
"Bob was an enforcer for the Paradiso crime syndicate."
Lucifer
"His signature was beating people half to death with a bag full of doorknobs."
Lucifer
"Paradisos have a pretty ruthless reputation."
Lucifer
"I've never dealt with them myself, but if Bob was high up in the organization..."
Lucifer
"They're based out of New York, but have their fingers everywhere."
Lucifer
"Look, no offense to the LAPD. I just didn't know who to trust."
Lucifer
"Especially since no-one should've known Bob was here."
Lucifer
"So you think the Paradisos were responsible for this?"
Lucifer
"A group of them came to town a couple of days ago"
Lucifer
"and I don't think it was for the sunshine."
Lucifer
"-Did you talk to them? -What's the point?"
Lucifer
"They won't talk to law enforcement."
Lucifer
"Oh, you'd be surprised."
Lucifer
"I mean, after all, she has the Devil at her side."
Lucifer
"Maybe it is kind of fun being in the know."
Lucifer
"[sighs]"

"[keys rattle]"

"-[Maze] What's up, Decker? -[gasps]"

"What the hell are you doing?"

"I heard you were back."

"waited for the creepiest moment ever to say something?"

"Old habits, I guess."

"Look, I know you're probably really freaked out, so..."

"I'm locked into these. You have nothing to worry about."

"Look, I need you to know..."

"Chloe, that even though I'm a demon..."
