Clips from Star Trek: Discovery - People of Earth (S03E03)

"NDOYE: You're human?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Perhaps it is time to stop making assumptions..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"and start listening."
Star Trek: Discovery
"STAMETS: I know what you did."
Star Trek: Discovery
"What were you doing?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"[sighs] The technology on this ship--"
Star Trek: Discovery
"your glass cube, these spore canisters--"
Star Trek: Discovery
"there's more to it than you're letting on."
Star Trek: Discovery
"So explain it to me or I'll report you."
Star Trek: Discovery
"If you were going to report us,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"you'd have done it a long time ago."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Besides, I don't think you want everyone knowing you're the one"
Star Trek: Discovery
"responsible for the sabotage."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Am I wrong?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Now, you want to show me what you're working on?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"These spores are from the fungal species"
Star Trek: Discovery
"called Prototaxites stellaviatori."
Star Trek: Discovery
"They power an alternate form of faster-than-light travel"
Star Trek: Discovery
"called the displacement- activated spore hub drive,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"though no one actually calls it that."
Star Trek: Discovery
"And, uh, that interface you saw..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"[sleeve unzips]"
Star Trek: Discovery
"...it connects to me."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I'm its human navigator."
Star Trek: Discovery
"-[sleeve zips] -Are there others like you?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"There's no one like me."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Well, I know how that feels."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Um, so, your ship wasn't stranded after The Burn."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Are you even a part of Starfleet?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Yes."
Star Trek: Discovery
"But, um, from the year 2258."
Star Trek: Discovery
"That explains a lot."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I mean, all the old technology that still looks brand-new."
Star Trek: Discovery
"But... how?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"If you want any more details,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"then I need to know who I'm talking to."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Because there's also more to youthan you're letting on."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I became an inspector hoping I'd come across"
Star Trek: Discovery
"a Federation starship."
Star Trek: Discovery
"The sabotage was just so I could have more time, here."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I just needed to make sure I could trust you."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Because I want to come with you."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Come with us? Why?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Senna Tal,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"the Starfleet officer you've been looking for..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I know him."
Star Trek: Discovery
"When we first scanned your ship,it was overcrowded."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Strained beyond its means."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Not a typical raider ship."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Our habitats on Titan are..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"barely livable."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Titan?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"That was once a research colony."
Star Trek: Discovery
"You split off from Earth a century ago,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"you're fully self-sufficient."
Star Trek: Discovery
"We were."
Star Trek: Discovery
"An accident at our liquid- hydrocarbon research base"
Star Trek: Discovery
"destroyed a third of our habitats."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Wiped out our tillable soil."
Star Trek: Discovery
"We've no long-range communications,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"no way to ask for help."
Star Trek: Discovery
"And we have lost..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"too many to count."
Star Trek: Discovery
"The first ship we sent for help,to our home planet,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"was fired upon and destroyed."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Then we knew we were on our own."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Earth has had to have strong defense protocols"
Star Trek: Discovery
"in the name of self-preservation."
Star Trek: Discovery
"We didn't know."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Now you do."
Star Trek: Discovery
"BURNHAM: Captain Ndoye,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"can Earth provide engineers and equipment to Titan,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"so an accident like that doesn't happen again?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"SARU: And assuming"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Titan's research was not lost,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"perhaps it could be shared with Earth in return."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I'm willing to discuss terms."
Star Trek: Discovery
"As am I."
Star Trek: Discovery
"The way you handled Wen was admirable."
Star Trek: Discovery
"An exception can be made for your crew"
Star Trek: Discovery
"to visit Earth's surface, should they wish to do so."
Star Trek: Discovery
"They would appreciate that immensely."
Star Trek: Discovery
"It has been a long journey."
Star Trek: Discovery
"You spoke with Adira."
Star Trek: Discovery
"She told me she can help you."
Star Trek: Discovery
"She has my permission to remain on board your ship."
Star Trek: Discovery
"SARU: Thank you, Captain Ndoye."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I would like to believe we will return someday."
Star Trek: Discovery
"We hope to offer you a warmer welcome when you do."
Star Trek: Discovery
"May your search be fruitful, Captain Saru."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Commander Stamets said you know where to find Admiral Tal."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Does this mean he is alive after all?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"Um, sort of."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I am Admiral Tal."
Star Trek: Discovery
"SARU: Although human,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"it appears young Adira has been joined with a Trill symbiont."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Trill?"
Star Trek: Discovery
"I've seen Trills at the exchanges."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I didn't know they carried symbionts."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Hmm. According to the sphere data,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"the symbionts are a sentient life-form,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"benevolent and extremely long-lived."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Once they join with a host, that host has the ability to"
Star Trek: Discovery
"access the memories of all former hosts."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Including Admiral Tal's."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Yes, but..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"it seems Adira has difficulty accessing those memories."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Perhaps because she is human and not Trill."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Well, regardless,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"she may carry knowledge of what remains of Starfleet."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I hope so."
Star Trek: Discovery
"I should've told you about my plan."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Yes, you should have."
Star Trek: Discovery
"Trust must remain an assumption between us."
Star Trek: Discovery
"We have work to do,"
Star Trek: Discovery
"and I would be proud to do it by your side."
Star Trek: Discovery
"But there are things, in my year here..."
Star Trek: Discovery
"...that I let go of."
Star Trek: Discovery
"And I need time"
Star Trek: Discovery
"to find my way back to them."
