Clips from The O.C. - The College Try (S03E03)
"Oh, hey. What's going on?"
The O.C.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
The O.C.
"How'd it go?"
The O.C.
"Anna."
The O.C.
"Summer."
The O.C.
"All of this, everything you've done up until now finally makes sense."
The O.C.
"So you and Ryan dated for how long?"
The O.C.
"Couple of years."
The O.C.
"But we've both been with other people since then."
The O.C.
"It's not exactly normal yet, but we're working on it."
The O.C.
"Tour of the Architecture Building."
The O.C.
"Never set foot in there, so I couldn't show him."
The O.C.
"- Oh, yeah, where do you hang out? - Poli-Sci Building."
The O.C.
"I'm hoping it gets me into law school."
The O.C.
"You know, you kind of remind me of him, a little bit."
The O.C.
"The good parts, at least."
The O.C.
"It is."
The O.C.
"- One second. - Hey, Ryan."
The O.C.
"- Hi. - Hi."
The O.C.
"- I didn't know you were gonna be here. - I hope it's not weird that I am."
The O.C.
"I don't really know the rules between us."
The O.C.
"That was Newport. Everything feels different here. I'm willing to try."
The O.C.
"Well, I don't know."
The O.C.
"I have enough dirt on you to last the next four years. So bring it on."
The O.C.
"I wanna hear about your architecture tour."
The O.C.
"Sorry. I should've told you I was on a Summer mission."
The O.C.
"Yeah, well, I should've known it."
The O.C.
"...and let's figure out how we're getting you out of this."
The O.C.
"- I thought you didn't wanna help me. - It's the pathetic thing. It works on me."
The O.C.
"Okay, look, here's a list of tomorrow's pre-frosh activities."
The O.C.
"Seth, you flew all this way to win her back."
The O.C.
"We're gonna write the speech."
The O.C.
"Honestly?"
The O.C.
"I don't know."
The O.C.
"Hey. I got your message about the hospital dinner."
The O.C.
"- Tomorrow. Can you make it? - Absolutely."
The O.C.
"Hey."
The O.C.
"Ryan, how are my old stomping grounds?"
The O.C.
"I'm happy to hear that."
The O.C.
"Hey, listen, you know what?"
The O.C.
"I got a call that I gotta take here. It's work."
The O.C.
"- How are those permits coming? - Hey, how's it going?"
The O.C.
"Don't be silly. Tell me more about college."
The O.C.
"It can wait till you get home."
The O.C.
"Okay. So there is something."
The O.C.
"Then you won't mind telling me. What is it?"
The O.C.
"- And you think...? - I don't know what I think."
The O.C.
"- Right. - Yes."
The O.C.
"Summer, can I talk to you?"
The O.C.
"I wanna explain to you about everything."
The O.C.
"Do you have a nametag?"
The O.C.
"Yes. Kumar Zimmerman."
The O.C.
"Well, good. Good then. Right."
The O.C.
"Oh, yes, I can. Don't you remember middle school?"
The O.C.
"Look, I promise you, I did not know Anna was gonna be..."
The O.C.
"Kumar? Kumar, you wanna keep it down?"
The O.C.
"Yeah. Sorry."
The O.C.
"You're wondering about the Kumar thing. Again, if you let me explain..."
The O.C.
"- You got quite the head start. - Summer, that is so not it."
The O.C.
"Look, you already ruined senior year for me."
The O.C.
"Now, will you please just leave me alone? Please."
The O.C.
"- Hi. I couldn't stay. - Ryan. I'm sorry."
The O.C.
"- I shouldn't have told you. - No, no, I'm glad you did."
The O.C.
"It's funny, in a way I was kind of expecting it."
The O.C.
"- Well, maybe it's not... - Yeah, yeah."
The O.C.
"Oh, great. Thanks. I'm gonna put this in the pool house."
The O.C.
"...why I should have gotten into Brown."
The O.C.
"Wait a minute. You didn't get in?"
The O.C.
"No, I didn't. But only because I'm sure..."
The O.C.
"...there was some clerical error..."
The O.C.
"...or human error, maybe the computer froze."
The O.C.
"Okay."
The O.C.
"You have one minute."
The O.C.
"Then I'm gonna have to sort of condense this..."
The O.C.
"...maybe make it more of a bullet-point thing."
The O.C.
"Grades, 3.8."
The O.C.
"That's not perfect, but I would say it's respectable."
The O.C.
"- I was extremely low profile. - Thirty seconds."
The O.C.
"And it's a little joke about the weather to keep it light. It's funny."
The O.C.
"That was compelling."
The O.C.
"Dr. Overbee, I have to get in here."
The O.C.
"Okay? And it's not just because I love it. Although I do, I truly... I do."
The O.C.
"It's because of a girl. Her name's Summer Roberts, and she's going here."
The O.C.
"If I don't get in, I'm gonna lose her and the rest of my life is gonna be ruined."
The O.C.
"- So this is a about a girl? - Yes."
The O.C.
"It's about the girl."
The O.C.
"And for better, for worse, we stick to them."
The O.C.
"...but you're gonna have to do this yourself. Good luck."
The O.C.
"...I needed to get home and deal. - Right, of course."
The O.C.
"- In case it turns out... - We'll cross that bridge..."
The O.C.
"...if and when we come to it. - Yeah."
The O.C.
"Oh, you know Ryan better than that."
The O.C.
"It just happened. You weren't there."
The O.C.
"You had to take a business call."
The O.C.
"Oh, so you told Ryan about Theresa to punish me."
The O.C.
"Theresa hasn't demanded anything of him. Why should we?"
The O.C.
"- What's that mean? - You know what I'm talking about."
The O.C.
"I know that we have to talk about this more, and I can't right now."
The O.C.
"- I gotta go to the office before dinner. - It'll have to wait. Fine."
The O.C.
"Thanks."
The O.C.
"Staying dry?"
The O.C.
"Yeah."
The O.C.
"...back to our place later, if you wanna come by."
The O.C.
"Oh, well, I was supposed to go to a freshman barbecue."
The O.C.
"But considering the rain, I could be persuaded otherwise."
The O.C.
"- Hey, where's Ryan? - Left this morning."
The O.C.
"- He went home? - Yeah, some family emergency."
The O.C.
"I don't know, should I give him space?"
The O.C.
"It's not easy being friends with your ex, is it?"
The O.C.
"...seems like whatever was happening, it was private."
The O.C.
"I guess so."
The O.C.
"I'm sorry. Miss Diaz won't be home until later. Can I help you?"
The O.C.
"Say hi, Daniel."
The O.C.
"This is Theresa's kid, huh?"
The O.C.
"I'll be sure to tell her that you stopped by."
The O.C.
"- Okay. - Okay. Bye."
The O.C.
"Having a good time?"
The O.C.
"Yeah, it seems like everyone is."
The O.C.
"Yeah, wait till tomorrow."
The O.C.
"Come Sunday, all these people..."
The O.C.
