Clips from Riverdale - Chapter Three: Body Double (S01E01)

"You know, I gotta ask you."
Riverdale
"What made you take such an interest in my son?"
Riverdale
"Oh. You don't even know, do you?"
Riverdale
"You know, you really have to keep an eye on girls like Veronica."
Riverdale
"They so easily can get out of control."
Riverdale
"Mix it with booze and it lowers your inhibitions. Hello, truth serum."
Riverdale
"You don't want to slow down, do you?"
Riverdale
"Oh, I'm 2 Fast 2 Furious, baby."
Riverdale
"Which you can make to Sheriff Keller, or to me."
Riverdale
"I suggest the latter."
Riverdale
"Blue and Gold offices. Tomorrow."
Riverdale
"Time to squeal, pig."
Riverdale
"What?"
Riverdale
"And now, everyone will know."
Riverdale
"Now, time for your reward."
Riverdale
"A Sticky Maple of your own."
Riverdale
"Wait! What, what?"
Riverdale
"Me neither."
Riverdale
"What do you mean?"
Riverdale
"- Chuck deserved it. - You called him Jason."
Riverdale
"- Know what? I didn't do that. - Yeah, girl, you did."
Riverdale
"You became another person."
Riverdale
"Next time, mija, you come to me first."
Riverdale
"the time, would have terrible consequences"
Riverdale
"It made all of the difference with Weatherbee."
Riverdale
"now B&V, and maybe forever,"
Riverdale
"had been forged."
Riverdale
"They walked through the fire,"
Riverdale
"Whoever killed Jason hurt him."
Riverdale
"If he hurt Polly, I'm sorry."
Riverdale
"(GASPS) Archie?"
Riverdale
"I meant what I told him."
Riverdale
"So..."
Riverdale
"JUGHEAD: We crave absolutes. They comfort us,"
Riverdale
"but life is infinitely more complex than that."
Riverdale
"If you publish a story saying I fired that gun, my life will be ruined."
Riverdale
"You have our word. As journalists."
Riverdale
"She was there."
Riverdale
"JUGHEAD: Despite all of our recent troubles,"
Riverdale
"I would've done anything to protect Archie."
Riverdale
"now forever changed by the mysterious murder of Jason Blossom"
Riverdale
"on the 4th of July."
Riverdale
"You're the music teacher. Can we talk about music?"
Riverdale
"We heard what we heard, and afterwards we didn't do anything!"
Riverdale
"Polly and Jason dated, and Jason hurt Polly."
Riverdale
"Oh, my God, Jason. He was shot."
Riverdale
"Good, evil."
Riverdale
"As the shadows around Riverdale deepened,"
Riverdale
"I'm guilty, Cheryl said in Biology class."
Riverdale
"But of what?"
Riverdale
"To clarify,"
Riverdale
"When was the last time you saw your brother?"
Riverdale
"I don't know what happened the week after that, but..."
Riverdale
"Cheryl, in your own words, what happened at Sweetwater River?"
Riverdale
"He asked for my help to stage a tragic accident,"
Riverdale
"In fact, we made it to the other side dry as bones."
Riverdale
"We said goodbye on the Greendale side of Sweetwater River."
Riverdale
"where he couldn't be reached or pulled back by our parents."
Riverdale
"One month, at the most."
Riverdale
"Any way that you can corroborate it?"
Riverdale
"And you have no idea why your brother wanted to run away,"
Riverdale
"fake his own death?"
Riverdale
"No, he wasn't... Jason wasn't cruel."
Riverdale
"you're spinning to cover your own tracks."
Riverdale
"and missed that morning."
Riverdale
"You heard a gunshot, and you're just telling us this now?"
Riverdale
"I was upset. My brother was murdered."
Riverdale
"So upset that you sang and danced at a pep rally yesterday."
Riverdale
"Get up. Why didn't you call us?"
Riverdale
"When we get home, you're telling us everything."
Riverdale
"Hot off the presses."
Riverdale
"Mom."
Riverdale
"First you leak Jason Blossom's autopsy report, and now this?"
Riverdale
"You have to stop sensationalizing this horrible thing."
Riverdale
"It's news, Betty. We own the Riverdale Register."
Riverdale
"Whatever Jason did to Polly, he's still a person."
Riverdale
"You reap what you sow."
Riverdale
"You should be writing about the real story."
Riverdale
"What happened to Jason?"
Riverdale
"Who was holding him captive? Why was he frozen?"
Riverdale
"And who shot that gun on July 4th?"
Riverdale
"Well, if you are so keen on reporting,"
Riverdale
"The Register could really use a Lois Lane type like you."
Riverdale
"People are saying Cheryl heard a gunshot?"
Riverdale
"I was there that morning."
Riverdale
"like everyone, I thought Jason had drowned."
Riverdale
"What were you doing down at the river so early on July 4th?"
Riverdale
"Um, working on some songs."
Riverdale
"- Did you see who fired the shot? - No, sir."
Riverdale
"Were you alone?"
Riverdale
"Who were you with?"
Riverdale
"(GUNSHOT IN DISTANCE)"
Riverdale
"So, are you a suspect now?"
Riverdale
"My dad says we all are, including me."
Riverdale
"Not me, girl. I don't know these people."
Riverdale
"Guys, should we maybe re-binge Making a Murderer on Netflix tonight?"
Riverdale
"Sorry. Can't. Gotta stay late to work on the paper."
Riverdale
"Count me out, too."
Riverdale
"- I've got a date tonight. - You do?"
Riverdale
"Which Riverdale hottie made the cut?"
Riverdale
"Hey, Vee-Lo."
Riverdale
"I'll swing by the Pembrooke to pick you up at 8:00?"
Riverdale
"I'll be waiting."
Riverdale
"Cool."
Riverdale
"He's kind of a player."
Riverdale
"Who cares? He's the hottest of hot,"
Riverdale
"and he's the varsity football coach's son."
Riverdale
"In Riverdale, that's like dating a Kennedy."
Riverdale
"The Blue and Gold isn't dead, Juggy. It's just dormant."
Riverdale
"You're writing a novel, right?"
Riverdale
"About Jason Blossom's murder?"
Riverdale
"Riverdale's very own In Cold Blood."
Riverdale
"I just don't think the school paper's the right fit for my voice."
Riverdale
"(GROANS) Juggy..."
Riverdale
"I'll help, and edit..."
Riverdale
"And suggest. But it's your story, it's your voice."
Riverdale
"Doesn't sound like complete freedom, but..."
Riverdale
"I'm in."
Riverdale
"There's one person who was at the river on July 4th that no one's talking about."
Riverdale
"Hey."
